Princeton Applied Research Launches Expanded Capability: VersaSTAT Family now includes 2-Amp Standard
Providing both the ability to apply and measure higher currents
Oak Ridge, TN- The VersaSTAT Family consists of the most popular potentiostat models available in the industry: the VersaSTAT3, VersaSTAT4, and VersaSTAT3F. This option-based platform provides excellent value to researchers. This announcement takes this price-and-performance to the next level as every new VersaSTAT now will include the capability to measure and apply currents as high as 2-Amps.
This function is internal to the VersaSTAT - no external booster or special cabling required. This simplified setup allows access to a wide dynamic current range in a single experiment. Benefits of having this capability include:
- Charge-Discharge energy devices at higher rates, working with larger form factors.
- Improved GEIS response on low-impedance cells by applying a larger stimulus.
- Pulse plating, electrodeposition at higher rates or on larger samples
